(More customer reviews)THREE times now, the micro USB connector used to charge the Mophie simply broke off from the device. The first two times, Mophie replaced the unit under warranty - the third time they said no.
That being the case, I disassembled the unit to see if I could identify the problem and it was immediate: The charging connector is held fast to the circuit board with glue! Two drops of hard, red glue. In other words, this connector was designed to fail.
The product works well when it works, but the product life is MUCH shorter than it could be simply because the factory tried to shave 8 entire cents from their cost.
